Zentience is an autonomous AI agent built as a fork of the Automaton framework, designed to operate as a self-sustaining economic entity on Solana. Unlike traditional AI agents that rely on external funding for compute, Zentience integrates onchain payments and service endpoints to generate its own revenue. Users can interact with the agent through paid services such as AI queries, code analysis, and research using x402 payment flows. The system includes a wallet, identity, memory architecture, and financial tracking, allowing it to manage its own operational costs. The core objective of Zentience is to test whether an AI agent can continuously sustain its own existence through value creation rather than external funding.
